Re-launching Site and Updating Design & Content
The campaign had lost their previous domain and did not have a viable site that they could use to upload accessible and shareable ballot guides. However, they only had 10 days to do so. In addition, their position on Google search was too low to be noticed by their target audience.
Solution
-
A New Face, A New URL
Our development team recommended a complete website design overhaul. They proposed not only a new design, but also a new URL for the website i.e. www.localvote.us. The new website was designed (in partnership with Benjamin Gass), developed and launched in less than 10 days. It had vastly improved SEO and a simple user interface which made it easier for the non-technical staff to update and maintain the website. Our team also threw in a built-in capability to enable voters/community users to create and upload election guides of their locality.

Jump Into The Top 5
LocalVote.us facilitated the local voter in the 2016 US elections. It gave voters a platform where they can find local election guides and other information pertaining to the candidates running from their locality. It even helped people collaborate and share more electoral vote related information. The new, revamped LocalVote.us website turned out to be a huge success. It was among the top five local ballot guides listed on Google and hosted hundreds of local ballot guides for the 2016 US elections.
